The role
What this is
Cyshel runs the legal and financial layer for every venture in the portfolio, which means several sets of books, several payment providers and one accountant who deserves a clean handover.
The standard here is specific: an expense is classified once, matched to a document, and reconciled against a statement. Recurring rent looks like a duplicate every month and is not, and the person in this seat is the reason we never delete it.
The work
What you would own
Responsibilities
Classify expenses and match them to receipts and invoices, company by company
Reconcile against bank and card statements on a fixed monthly rhythm
Chase the documents that are missing, before the quarter closes rather than after
Prepare the tax pack the accountant actually needs, in the format they asked for
First ninety days
Week 1: reconcile one month for one company
Month 1: own the monthly close for two companies
Month 3: own the close for the portfolio and the accountant handover
The fit
What we are looking for
Requirements
Bookkeeping experience with Israeli tax practice
Precise with numbers and comfortable saying that something does not reconcile
Hebrew and English
Nice to have
Multi-entity bookkeeping
You have worked with an internal finance tool rather than only a spreadsheet
