The role
What this is
Some of our products are communities before they are software: a film community, a festival schedule, an academy. They are held together by events that actually happen and by somebody answering when a member writes in.
This role produces those events end to end and owns the community between them. It is part-time and it is real: the events have attendees, budgets and a date that does not move.
The work
What you would own
Responsibilities
Produce events end to end: venue, suppliers, schedule, budget, and the day itself
Own community channels and answer members like a person, not a macro
Run the calendar far enough ahead that nothing is booked in a panic
Report attendance, cost per attendee and what you would change next time
First ninety days
Week 1: shadow a live event end to end
Month 1: produce one event yourself
Month 3: own the calendar and the community channels
The fit
What we are looking for
Requirements
You have produced live events with real attendees and a real budget
Calm under a schedule that has already slipped

Nice to have
Film, music or nightlife community experience
Comfortable on camera or on a microphone when the host does not turn up
Hiring
How this actually goes
You write to us
An email with whatever makes the case. A CV is fine, so is a link to something you built. We read every one.
A first call
Forty-five minutes with the person you would work beside. What you have built, what you want to own, and what this actually is.
A real problem
A paid piece of work or a working session on something we are genuinely stuck on. No take-home puzzles with no answer.
An offer, in writing
Scope, compensation and what you own, written down before you decide. If it involves equity, you see the instrument and the vesting first.
Interested?
Write to us with whatever makes the case. A CV is fine, so is a link to something you built and a paragraph on why this role. We read every application and we reply.
